    Printing QR Label Requirements:

    • Internet browser with access to Google Sheets
    • Print from the computer sheet is being accessed
    • Have Avery 5160 or compatible labels at Staples, Avery.com or Amazon.

You can use any other label or paper you choose if you prefer to cut or manipulate as desired to place on the Alexa.

    Step 1 - Identify Device Serial Number(s)

You can find the Device Serial Number (DSN) in a variety of ways.

    1. On the Alexa box. E.g., for the Alexa Show 8 the DSN is on the bottom
    2. On the device itself. For the Alexa Show 8 it is on the bottom in the middle groove.
    3. If the device is plugged in and setup, you can swipe from the top and tap Setting-Device Options, then scroll to the bottom and you will see the DSN.

Step 2 - Access Google Sheet

We have created a COPY-ONLY google sheet.

    1. Login to Google when you click the link (nonoptional).
    2. Access the google Sheet here: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/125vG5haOO42ApgGs42ozmYRVT15sYnMteCGCTJsjkFs/copy?usp=sharing
    3. You will be prompted to copy the sheet. Click "Make a copy". This will copy the sheet to your google account in "My Drive"
    4. IMPORTANT!!!! You must click into the cell that says "#REF!". You will be prompted to "Allow Access" as shown below. Click "Allow Access"

    Step 3 - Enter Device Serial Number(s)

    1. We have provided a sample DSN (G0916D1000230GQK). Replace that DSN with your DSN or however many DSNs you have to print. ENTER YOUR DSNs IN EACH ROW AS NEEDED. For example, if you have 3 DSNs, you will enter the first DSN in cell A:2. the second in A:3 and the third in A:4.

    Step 4 - Print

    1. When ready to print, note the tabs at the bottom of the sheets. The tab titled "print-label" will have the DSNs you entered.

    2. In the Sheet menu, select File-Print
    3. Your computer print dialog will come up, and you can print the QR labels as needed to your printer.

The formatting of the print-label and subsequent pages is specific to the Avery 5160 labels. If you change the columns or rows sizing, it will impact the printing.
