Reset or setup an Echo Show (screen based Alexa)
- Plug in the Echo Show
- Select English language
- Enter the Alexa WiFi
- Reach out to your community or Speak2 if you need Wi-Fi information.
- Please email support@speak2family.com for the Amazon email or password.
- If you have a specific community login, you can use that.
- Skip all prompts and steps. Don't add a phone number, address or enable other settings.
- If the device asks to download software updates, click yes. The device will reboot and come back on.
- Assign the device.
- If there is a QR code on the bottom of the device, scan the QR code and share the room number on the Staff app, or email support@speak2family.com with the code.
- If there is no label on the device, swipe down from the top of the device, navigate to "Device Options" and scroll to the bottom of the content on screen to find the serial number (DSN). Share the DSN with Speak2 via email support@speak2family.com.
- Keep the device plugged in, and Speak2 will send an email once assigned.
