How to Search and Knowledge Base
Most questions can be found very quickly with a search. Typing in the keyword will usually find one to many articles related to the topic, and you can choose the right article based on what you need. We highly recommend starting with our Knowledge Base.
You can always email us at support@speak2family.com. We usually answer within 24 hours and can have a more in-depth dialogue about what you need. Please don’t be angry if we share Knowledge base articles to answer your questions - we know we are better at finding them than others :)
Are there resident documents or cheat sheets?

Why is there no support phone number to call?
Because it’s 2024, we haven’t made a phone call in 3 years.
How do I assign a device?
The device must first be set up with a Speak2 email. After that, we will use the DSN (Device Serial Number) to assign the device. Each Speak2 device has a 3-digit code and QR code labeled on the bottom. Scan the QR code and submit via the Staff App with the room number assigned. Speak2 will assign. Currently, users cannot assign devices. Speak2 must assign devices on the backend.

How do I order more devices?
Fill out this form. Speak2 will order, set up, and ship the devices to you. Once payment for the devices has been received, the devices will ordered and shipped.
Can people call into Alexa?
Yes, any smartphone or tablet can call into an Alexa device. They must be added to the Alexa Address book. Click here to view more information.
Someone already has an Alexa. Can we change the name?
Yes, we can change Alexa's name, or her wake word to Echo, Computer or Amazon. If you'd like make this change. Edit the wake word in Resident Record > Alexa > Wake word.

Can I turn the video off?

Yes, physically close the shutter on the top right of the screen.
You will see a screens how the camera shutter is off and the shutter tab will be orange.
No video calls can come through or be made.
