Use the staff app to accept requests, manage content, call residents and more.

Get the staff app at the Apple or Android app stores.
Login
You can get your login for the Speak2 Staff app by asking your community liaison for a login. They can set you up in the Speak2 portal. You will get an email and a text message with your temporary login code.
1. Receive the login code (via email or text)
2. Enter your Username and temporary login code
3. You will be prompted to set a new password.
4. Once a new password is set, you will be in the app.
App Overview
Navigate features on the left-hand navigation. See all requests in details on the home page.
Create an order
- Click the bell icon
- Select the resident, department, service and fill in any details.
- Select the date the order will be executed.
- Tap Send - Note, the resident will receive a notification that their order is scheduled. Any changes to this order will also be sent to the resident.
Accept Requests on the staff app
You will only receive requests
- A notification will beep on your phone
- A card will appear with order details and options to accept or video call
- Click the check mark to accept. Alexa will alert them you've accepted the request.
- Once accepted, click the calendar icon to schedule for a later date
- Click the close button to complete the request

Make Announcements on the staff app
- Click Announcement icon
- Click the plus button + on top right corner
- Enter your announcement text
- Select who will be receiving the announcements
- Tap Send
Take attendance on the staff app
Take attendance for activities or meals.
- Click Calendar or Menu
- Slide right to open Attendance
- Drag and drop residents to the appropriate columns. You can also mark the level of participation.

- Click the menu to view dining menu and make edits or create a new entry
- Click the calendar to view activity calendar and make edits or create a new entry
How to get support on the staff app
- Click the question mark on the top left corner
- Enter the text if you need support to get back to you or to report a problem.
- Click the "Move a Device" if you transfer a device between rooms. For more details on how to do this, see this article: Move a Device
How to call on the staff app
Click the camera icon on the bottom middle and select the resident you'd like to call.
How to use Notepad on the staff app
Click the star button * on the bottom right corner to create a notepad entry.
Create a Community Message
- Click the Message bubble on left hand side
- Click +
- Add your audio, label, calendar type and click save. You must add in a label if you are doing audio.
View Checked In Residents
Click the person icon on the left hand side to view or manual check any residents in
Calendar
- Click the calendar icon top middle.
- Click "All" to view all Staff. Click "Calendar" to only view yours.
Profile
Click your profile icon in the top right corner to update your name, change your password or sign out.
